Hello,

From last one week i have a problem with my throat and cough. My voice has changed coz of it, pains in the legs(knees to ankels). But i don’t have fever and cold.
I thought its a mere change in water. As i came from Tamil nadu to Andhra pradesh. Basically i am from AndhraPradesh.

Is it a symptom of Swine Flu??…
Pls let me know

My children have been swab for the Influenza Flu and it came back positive for Influenza Type A….Is this the same as H1 N1?… The DR. did not prescribe any kind of antibotics instead we are still giving them childrens moltrin and childrens tylenol every 4-6 hrs as needed. This has been going on for 5 days now…..Is this common? Should I seek A third DR.? Should I just take them to the ER…
Thanks……..

My son is 10 years old 3 weeks ago he came down with a high fever of 105.1 I immediatly treated his fever with childrens Tylenol and gave him a bath gradually incressing the cold temperature to bring his core temperature down. This was succsusfull with in 1/2 hour he was at 101, I monitored him every two hours that night, however in the morning he was back up to 103 and change. I took him to the Emergency room, they did chest x-rays and observation. They stated that it was viral and needed to run its course. We went home and the fever continued for another 4 1/2 days Motrin/and Tylenol was was rotated and administered every 4 hours this resulted in the fever being consistant at 101. and change degrees. The 2nd half of the 4th day from our emergency room visit he developed a cough. I took him for a follow up with his pediatrician and he stated that he was just recovering and appeared fine. The cough has been non productive. He is now experiencing what appears to be migrane headaches and is week and pale. Looks ill. He has no other known medical conditions and was healthy up to this point. His school is offering the H1N1 vaccine and I have not yet consented for it to be administered due to his current symptoms. What should I do another trip to the ER, or doctor. This is a fustrating buisness between going back in forth, and a feeling of helplessness as a parent. Any advice appreciated. Julie
