hi, my name is miranda and my younger sister has been felling sick for a couple days now and been complanning her chest was hurting and her stomache and tonight she was vomiting and we had spagetti, i noticed that her vomite was well it didnt look like vomite it was more like noddles with chicken and some sauce on it plus there was no odor or smell. So i was wondering is it simply because she didnt chew, or could she have symptoms of swin flew.

I returned home last night after a day shopping with my 10yr old son. Upon returning home and playing at a board game for some time, I noticed he was feeling cold and an intermittent dry cough. I asked him to go in the sitting room together and watch a comic movie together cudled up with a blanket, but after some time i noticed dry cough getting more consistent and by this time he had developed a runny nose. All the above happened in the space of maybe 90mins. I contacted our family doctor and he advised not to keep him too warm and to give him a cough syrup which I happened to have at home. Later on he was asleep but woke up as if startled and hurried to the bathroom but wet himself before. I let him take a shower and washed floor and lied next to him in bed until he slept, after which I sat down for some time watching tv but keeping an eye on him, measuring his temperature which at the time was 99 degrees celcius. After about 25minutes he was shaking so hard, that me being an epileptic myself thought he had a seizure, even though he had never been diagnosed as an epileptic. Laid him sideways and inserted my fingers between his teeth to prevent him from biting his tongue and clear passage for him to breath. All the while I called for an ambulance and he was admitted to hospital emergency unit. Within ten minutes his temperature read 104 degrees celsius and had wet himself again. Some blood samples were taken and a chest x-ray. By this time his temperature was less, but now he also threw up. He was semi-conscious all the while, but when he would come into himslef he would recognise us around him. Today we got lab results that from blood samples he tested ppositive to swine flu and today his temperature has been oscillating from 100 - 102 degrees celsius. He is being kept under observation and in isolation to prevent contamination risk. Can I know what should I expect as future signs of swine flu, pls ? I would like to be better prepared if any more exceptional symptoms as happened yesterday were to occur. I love my son like all parents do. Thank you

I have a runny nose and a really big headache! i never really get sick throughout the year other than durning winter. How can i tell this is swine flu.? I read a information paper about swine flu knowing the symptoms and coughing, head aches, and runny nose are common symptoms, that i have. I haven't experienced any of the other symptoms. If your eyes hurt is that a symptom of swine flu?

I’m suffering from mild fever since last 1 week, I consulted Dr for this and i have been given some medications (antibiotics and paracetemol), but the fever is not coming into contorl. I don’t have any other symptoms like cough, cold, soar throat.
What should I do now, should I take test for swine flu?
